When I worked for the summer at Sunset Beach on Shelter Island years ago, one of the first things my boss said to me was "Learn this name - Demarchelier - know how to spell it. You will use it often." It was true, Patrick Demarchelier, the famous fashion photographer, and his family, frequented the restaurant. So now while knowing how to quickly spell his name, he is also another wonderful photographer whose work I enjoy to follow.
